Strategic: I want to work towards the realization of Human Consciousness Extension via enablement of ground-breaking technological and business development. I want to enable technology to be the next evolutionary leap for human-kind.

Manage, upgrade, engineer, and administer current and future UMBC Graduate School information systems, business processes, department IT needs, and user IT needs. The role involved working with 200+ fellow workers, supporting 30+ departmental workers, 2000+ applicants (customers), ~20 major integrated systems, and an application system that costs $50,000+ per year to run.

• Created policies and systems to help increase incoming student population by 30%
• Assisted in creating a dozen new programs to bring in a diverse new set of customers
• Spearheaded and implemented idea for variable pricing on Internet submissions, leading to cost-savings and enhanced user experience
• Requisitioned for multiple student employee positions, then hired and administered the positions to successfully expand the departments IT abilities and goals
• Ran a no-longer-supported vendor solution for 2 years beyond contract - allowing dept. budgets to stretch beyond normal capacity, and give time to roll in new campus-wide ERP software
• Creator of a then-new style of webpage self-editing (wiki cms), that allowed us to attract and bring in a leading Dean of Engineering and IT, who in turn exploded UMBCs online IT masters program revenue.

• Document Imaging Server Upgrade - Customized Linux software and hardware were upgraded to meet a set of primary goals; The project spanned 12 months, 200+ users, 30+ departments, and 600 gigs of mission critical NPI data was migrated

Working for the campus architect, I was assigned web and specialty IT tasks, including a self-directed system implementation for inventorying classrooms on the web. PHP, Oracle, autoCAD, and technical documentation creation were handled. Involvement and cooperation with 20+ employees, and 8+ departments.

• CollegeNETs R25 software was used to engineer and developed a homegrown add-on interface that involved integrating inventory data to an existing web interface; system design and implementation for 70+ classrooms; the system is still in use today
