I attended UMBC for 3 years as an undergrad, have worked at it for about 3 years in two main departments doing IT work, and am now also attending Graduate School here.
I think that we are a forward thinking, fast-paced, research university, with wonderful diverse students and faculty, supported by a well-meaning but occasionally flawed administration that is going through growing pains.
